on top of(on top of什么意思)

例如, the book is on the table.书在桌子上.the lamp is on top of the table. 但on top of 有许多其他意思 比如on top of all the costs, you'll have to pay an extra of 15% service charge.

She laid her hand on top of his. You don't want to give the poor man ulcers on top of all the problems he's already got.

on the top of, 在。。。 就像on，in，behind，in front of这些词一样的用法。 That bee is on the top of that flower.

My doggy jumped on top of me. I'm on top of things now. 就是说，我把事情都处理完啦～I'm fully in control.（当然，我们在国外听球赛讲解，有时候也听到人家说：Let's see ifCelticsare on top of their game today. ——on top of their game, So on top of $19.99 for that, you still need to pay $3.15. We all tried to stay on top of current events。 on top of current events？） The deadline is on top of you! 这里的on top of是很近的意思。 I was on top of Justin Bieber.（Never!) 刚刚看到楼上有人说on top of it有祸不单行的意思。看了一下他的例句，我估计他的意思是说：on top of it=in addition to that.
on the top of 是指在具体物体的顶部 如：The pagoda stands alone on the top of the hill. The skin exactly on the top of my head pains. There is a bird on top of the house房子顶上有只鸟。I am on top of the world. This work is getting on top of me. On top of this, several other benefits are being offered.

on top of 熟练掌握，在……之上；stay on top of ···知道，了解，学习 Stay on top of new ingredients and new product technologies applicable.
